Raised in an oh-so-pureblood family, Heimdall is one of many in an old and revered bloodline. Or so his father has constantly told him since birth. As a result, he was fairly sequestered from social contact, his father prefering not to contaminate the family with outside influences. Some escaped this. Heimdall, for the most part, was the dutiful son. Perhaps not out of any sense of love, so to speak, but because of the way he was raised. Heimdall is very dutiful to his own (somewhat twisted) sense of honour. He follows the family eddict of muggles being somewhat less than human in comparison to wizards, and for the most part, he doesn't care much for those among the muggle-born. He has no unending malice for them, but rather a bored contempt. However, he won't go out of his way to be nasty to a muggleborn simply because of their birth. As a result of this, he may seem somewhat of a 'blood traitor' to the more zealous of his House.

Heimdall is very introverted, and finds most other people annoying. He's often uncomfortable in crowds, though he refuses to show it. He has a short temper, and a sharp tongue. He is also not reluctant at all to tell someone exactly what he thinks of them, especially when he thinks they're being an idiot. This hasn't gained him many friends, but Heimdall doesn't really care too much. He firmly believes in himself, and refuses to rely on the strength of others.

He is currently in preparation to become an (illegal)Animagus, and his alternate form will be, unbeknownst to him, a Peregrine Falcon. He is very protective of his secret, and hopes to complete the preparation this school year. And his mun likes his canon too much not to give him this form >.>;; ((This has been approved by the mods of the game))

Heimdall has only one eye due to an unfortunate accident when he was about eight years old, involving his cousin Loki and a prank gone horribly wrong. Heimdall doesn't think of this incident as an accident at all, and as a result has been looking for revenge ever since. This has resulted in numerous schemes and juvenile pranks over the years in an attempt to pay Loki back. Don't mention the childishness of them to Heimdall, though -- he might get just a little upset.

As usual, he recieved his owl when he was eleven and promptly started attending Hogwarts. Heimdall keeps to himself in general...though he is unable to resist making comments on other's stupidity, it seems. And his schemes have a tendency of catching others than his intended target. Oops.



Vindhlér is one of the Old Norse names for the god Heimdall. It means 'Wind Shelter' (Re: Wiki). Of the names that the god was known as, that one seemed to fit my interpretation of Heimdall the best though Hallinskíði, or 'Bent Stick' was very tempting. Like a shelter against the wind, Heimdall can withstand many fierce storms, yet still remain as steady as ever.

Lacus Clyne (pink_n_perky): He's known her since he started at Hogwarts, and is somewhat pretty protective of her. This mostly shows in him constantly insulting her and disliking any guy she dates.

He has come to regard her as an annoying little sister who just happens to be older than him whom he feels obligated to take care of that he can't help but feel affection for. She's someone he can tease and vent his frustrations to, and take care of when he's feeling protective. And she's one of the few who can completely annoy him and yet still have him (grudgingly) love her. He's not really sure why.

Chizuru Honshou (_chizuru_chan): Another idiot Gryffindor who just happens to be Lacus' on again, off again best friend. Heimdall thinks she's shallow, conceited, overly dramatic and not incredibly intelligent. However, despite himself, Heimdall is slowly starting to gain a small measure of respect for her. But only a little.

Hel (g_othic): Heimdall's cousin and closest friend. They're the only two sane members of their family by mutual opinion. She recently transferred over from Durmstrang, and Heimdall is quite pleased to have her nearby. The only person he actually trusts, and is unfailingly loyal to her.

Yue (lj user="yuetsukan">): Classmate and dormmate. He's usually somewhat decent to talk to, though Heimdall thinks he has a bit too much of a preoccupation with 'mudbloods' and blood traitors.
